I am Kirsty,
the face behind Above & Beyond Event styling.
I am a mum & I have quite
a collection of skills from beauty therapy to singing.
after I had my son I got into newborn photography with Bounty,
which then led me to weddings and so my love for the industry grew.
when my son started school I needed to fit work around my family and so I decided
to act on my love of events.
I told my partner my business idea which he fully supported, made my sweet cart and
Above & Beyond was born.

I recently won an award for Venue décor in the South west Wedding Awards 2022
and have been a finalist 3 years following that.
I am so proud of the business that I’ve created and relish the opportunity
to continue offering my services to customers in the future.

Once we receive your enquiry, kirsty will get in touch to answer your questions and to get more details. It’s important that we gain a strong understanding of what you’re aiming to achieve so that we can create a bespoke quote that is tailored to your vision so please send your Pinterest boards, photos and let us know if you already have any decor to work with. They’re the essential ingredients to developing your own personal style.

How we work

Your Quote
Once you’ve had your quote, Look through the styling proposal and let Kirsty know if you have any questions at all. If anything needs to be amended then we’ll tweak and adjust things until you’re completely happy. You’ll need to read our T&C’s before you pay the £100 booking fee as once it is paid we take that as confirmation that you have read them and are happy with the conditions of booking. the booking fee secures your date in the diary and reserves the stock in your quote. As soon we receive payment you’ll be sent a receipt to keep for your records and you can rest safe in the knowledge that your venue will look amazing.

Final Details
4 weeks prior to your event Kirsty will be in touch to confirm your guest numbers and get your table plan information if you're having one. By this stage you should have received all of your RSVPs so it will be a straight forward process of finalising your invoice which will be due for payment 4 weeks prior to your event. In the final week running up to your event Kirsty will contact the venue to arrange access day/time for setup and this will then be confirmed with yourself so that you know when to expect us.

On The Day
It's here, event day!! kirsty along with her Mum Claire will arrive at your venue to create your vision. Depending on your venue, this may be on the day or the day before. We will then start the magic of transforming your venue. You can get ready safe in the knowledge that everything is being taken care of. Once set up we’ll leave you to enjoy event and kirsty will return the the day following the event to collect everything, leaving you one less thing to worry about.
